About Lucy
Lucy is a Specialist Nurse in Infection Prevention and Control with over 20 years of experience across acute care, community services, and system-level leadership within the NHS. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Infection Control and has worked extensively at Integrated Care Board (ICB) level, supporting a wide range of providers to strengthen and embed effective, person-centred IPC.
Infection prevention isn’t just a professional responsibility for me - it’s a deeply personal commitment. I believe effective IPC is about more than compliance; it’s about care, clarity, and helping people feel confident in their roles. My goal is always to provide support that’s not only evidence-based and up to standard, but also human, practical, and tailored to the unique challenges each provider faces.
